We can mix indoor studio portraits with outdoor locations that showcase Kodiak’s beauty, incorporate multiple outfits and looks, and create everything from classic, polished images to bold, creative shots.
For Seniors
This is your year. You get to show who you are right now — your style, your interests, your personality. We’ll talk through ideas, outfits, and locations ahead of time, so when it’s time to shoot, you can just relax and be yourself. I’ll guide you through the process during the shoot so it doesn’t feel awkward and you don’t have to wonder what to do next. Bring a friend, a playlist, or both — whatever makes you feel comfortable and hyped — and we’ll make portraits you’ll actually want to share!
For Parents
Senior portraits aren’t just pictures, they’re one of the last opportunities to capture your child before they step into adulthood. These sessions are designed to preserve this moment in a way that feels genuine and timeless, creating images you’ll treasure for years to come.
The Process
We’ll start with a brief consultation to go over ideas and make sure everyone is on the same page. The session fee is $500 and covers all planning and photography. Once you’re booked, we’ll schedule a dedicated planning session to map out outfits, locations, and shoot dates (with backup options for outdoor sessions because…Kodiak).
We usually end up shooting about 3-4 hours total, and can include a mix of indoor on-location and studio portraits, scenic outdoor locations around Kodiak, and multiple outfit changes. Whether they want something classic and timeless, bold and creative, somewhere in between, or a mix of styles; your senior’s portraits will feel like them — right now — frozen in time forever. And you’ll have keepsakes you’ll treasure for years.
When your images are ready for review & selection, we’ll meet in person for an ordering appointment. Print packages begin at $900, with most families investing $1,500–$2,000 in a mix of wall art, albums, and folio boxes. Every purchased image includes a web-sized file for online sharing, and your favorite portrait will also be provided in yearbook size for submission.
Sea & Spruce Studios retains printing rights to all images, but we’re happy to coordinate with you—or with third-party printers—for announcements, enlarged posters, or other special projects.
Session Fee: $500
Includes consultation, optional styling guidance, location scouting, session planning, 3–4 hours of shooting, and an in-person ordering reveal within 3 weeks.
Upgrades: Priority editing, professional hair and makeup artists, wardrobe guidance and/or purchasing, and custom travel to exclusive scenic locations (via boat, plane, and beyond) are available for additional fees.
Artwork: These sessions are designed for heirloom-quality albums, folio boxes, and wall art with options to add gift prints for friends and relatives. Web-sized files are included with purchased images for online sharing.
Investment: Print packages start at $900, with most families investing $1,500–$2,000. Purchase within 24 hours of your ordering appointment and 50% of your session fee ($250) will be credited toward your order.
